2017 SEASON INFO
Alexander made Patriot League Second Team this year.Alexander went 129 for 582 (avg of 4.5yds/carry) rushing with 6 TDs and 4 for 44yds receiving in his sophomore year at Colgate. Things were a little lopsided as for the middle games the starting back was out so Alexander got to start (and therefore got more carries). In the season opener he ripped a 57yd TD run. Colgate went 7-4 (5-1 in conference) and tied for the Patriot league conference winners...so Alexander got a ring! |

September 9th vs. Richmond, Colgate lost 17-20
Alexander went 8 for 38 and had a great 27yd run.

September 16th vs. Buffalo, Colgate lost 10-33
Painful game to watch. Alexander went 11 for 31.
September 23th vs. Furman, Colgate lost 14-45
Boy, I thought the last game was painful. Alexander went 20 for 62 (with a 15yd run) and had 5yds receiving from a single catch.

October 7th vs. Lehigh, Colgate lost 38-41
Perhaps the most frustrating game ever. Alexander had his best NCAA game to date - 26 for 141 (long of 42) with 2 TDs rushing and 2 for 35 receiving (long of 18) for a total of 176 offensive yards, not to mention several 3rd down conversions and a 4th down conversion. A slew of horrible calls by the refs killed us (including THREE touchdowns called back on penalties). If we had only played Lehigh and not the refs we could have won.
