Alexander went 36 for 160 (avg of 4.4yds/carry) in his freshman year at Colgate. Two games accounted for most of that - one he did 16 for 96 and another he did 5 for 37. Colgate went 5-5 (4-2 in conference) and that was the worst record Alexander has had since he was seven.

Worst loss of Alexander's career. They were up 21-0 before the first quarter was over. Alexander went 2 for 3 and was in for a couple of other plays.

October 8th vs. Lehigh, Colgate lost 45-31
Alexander went 1 for 1.

October 15th vs. Bucknell, Colgate lost 27-7
Alexander was back in form. He was in on a lot of plays and went 5-37.
