MSC Poesia Greenand/Iceland Cruise 2023
This was a bucket list item for me and a long time in the making. I first became obsessed with Greenland over 10yrs ago, and have been trying to
figure out the best way to get there ever since. When this cruise came up, it was perfect because it went to 3 cities in Greenland, including
Ilulissat which is the land of icebergs and above the Arctic circle. Then...COVID struck, and our plans were delayed. But now we've finally been,
and it DEFINITELY lived up to the hype.In addition to Greenland, the cruise did Iceland, Scotland, and Germany - all places we've been to before, but with the exception of Reykjavik, all new cities. This trip started with a week in the US, spending a couple of days each with 3 sets of friends in upstate NY, VA and MD. I married the friends in NY (Travis and Rachel), and when we were in VA, we went to DC to see the African American museum and the MLK monument.
